Mindful Movement, Hands-On Healing: Feldenkrais in San Francisco
Ease chronic pain. Improve your posture and balance. Reduce stress. Experience freedom from limitations.
“Make the impossible possible,
the possible easy,
and the easy elegant.”
— Moshé Feldenkrais
What is Feldenkrais?
The Feldenkrais Method® is somatic education that teaches you how to heal and change through movement and hands-on healing.
The benefits are profound:
Recover from injury and eradicate chronic pain
Improve posture, balance, and coordination
Reduce stress, TMJ, and PTSD symptoms
Fine-tune your performance in sports, arts, and daily life
Enhance self-awareness and ease of being
Rather than "fixing you," the Feldenkrais Method teaches you "how to fish."
I help clients become self-reliant, informed, and independent through increased awareness and understanding. You become more aware of what you do and how you do it.
As Moshé Feldenkrais said, "Nothing is permanent about our behavior patterns except our belief that they are so."
Who is this for?
For anyone who suspects there's more range available: in movement, in expression, in life.
The curious mover who suspects movement can feel better than this
The dancer, performer, or athlete who has lost their ease and flow
Anyone carrying pain so familiar it's become background noise
How I work with you
Private Sessions
In a private lesson, called Functional Integration, I work with you through gentle, non-invasive touch, the primary language of this work.
You lie on a table, fully clothed in something comfortable
Personalized Learning: Each 75-minute session is specific to you: what you're carrying, what you're curious about, what wants to change
Immediate Benefits: Pain reduces, posture improves, and movement that felt stuck begins to open up

An Integrated Approach
Movement + Expression + Learning
As an educator, theater director, and performance artist for over 20 years, I bring a unique perspective to Feldenkrais. My background is rooted in the relationship between perception, movement, learning, and expression.
I began my Feldenkrais training in 2009, informed by extensive practice in somatic movement, dance, and voice—including a Fulbright Fellowship in Poland focusing on embodied movement.
This integrated approach is especially powerful for performers, artists, and anyone interested in the connection between how we move and how we express ourselves.
I work with curious people who want to improve their function, whether for daily ease or peak performance in the arts.
